Speaker 1: Scott Farester, Field Marketing Manager at Silicon Labs

Talk Title: The Internet of Robotic Things
About the speaker: Responsible for IoT Product Marketing for Eastern North America Region. In this role, Scott is responsible to support the sales team in delivering smart, connected, and energy-friendly solutions that solve customer IoT product requirements. Received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the United States Military Academy and a MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology. Former Commissioned Officer in the US Army and US Army Reserve. Over 20 years experience in semiconductor and embedded systems product marketing, sales, and sales management. Prior to joining Silicon Labs, he was regional sales manager for an IoT building automation and lighting control company.

Speaker 3: Jeff Engelberger, Regional Sales Manager at Kawasaki Robotics

Talk Title: Industrial Robotics: Past, Present, and Future
About the speaker: Mr. Engelberger has worked for several robotics companies, including Unimation, Adept/Omron, Yaskawa, and Kawasaki. His experience is unique in the range of industrial and service robots he helped develop and deploy in manufacturing and service applications. Engelberger earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Connecticut, and a master’s degree in Management Technology from NYU Polytechnic University.
