About the speaker: Joshua Ness is a 5G Labs Manager with Verizon in New York City. He works with enterprise, startups, and academic teams to drive innovation around 5G. He also works to educate, inspire, and connect the dots for businesses interested in moving forward with emerging technology.
About the company: Verizon Wireless is an American telecommunications company which offers wireless products and services. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Verizon Communications. Verizon Wireless is the largest wireless telecommunications provider in the United States.

Speaker 3: Alberto Ignacio Mannil, Hacking House Program Manager at Sigfox

Talk Title: Sigfox Use Cases and the Power of 0G (“Zero G”)
About the speaker: Alberto is program manager for Sigfox’s innovation program Hacking House, where young professionals and recent graduates develop complete IoT solutions to solve a variety of global issues. Born in Venezuela, he has a Master’s in Business Development from Grenoble École de Management and loves to play with IoT development kits.
About the company: Sigfox is a French global network operator founded in 2009 that builds wireless networks to connect low-power objects such as electricity meters and tracking devices, which need to be continuously on and emitting small amounts of data. Sigfox is based in Labège near Toulouse, France.
