Alysha - after planning a career in Civil Engineering, a chance encounter with a sexist academic at a University open day made Alysha reconsider that profession entirely. Civil Engineering's loss is Computer Science's gain as she switched courses. She is passionate about solving problems with code, and about being a champion for Women in IT. She currently works as a Software Engineer at Microsoft focussing on AI and Machine Learning.

About the speaker: Eric is passionate about education, open-source, and everything audio. He has worked at Fraunhofer IDMT, DSP Concepts, and EPFL, where he started Switzerland’s largest student Hackathon and just recently got his Masters.
