In the last 10 years Andrew has been involved in leading and delivering research, development and innovation projects and programmes in the rail sector before joining Hitachi’s global R&D group in January 2017 where he is the Head of R&D for Rail and Energy.

About the speaker: Bryan has got a Meng in mechanical engineering and been working in the EVSE industry for over 5 years now. He had multiple roles in the product development department where he has managed all the stages involved in releasing an IOT device in the market from early R&D stage to manufacturing introduction. Product development in early stages of a fast growing start-up are very challenging as they involve a lot of compromises and risks management. Bryan managed the development of newest PCBA / firmware to replace our old products. Also created load balancing systems to accommodate with the need for more EVSE on limited supply. He is now in charge of the Network Assurance, they mainly focus on uptime and understanding the product once in the market. On the side, he loves the Raspberry Pi.
